New Shades
Pirouette® ClearView® Window Shadings
The Hunter Douglas Pirouette and Silhouette Shadings are known for their ability to diffuse harsh sunlight and illuminate your space while providing a gorgeous view out your window! Already available with the Silhouette Window Shading, the ClearView fabric is now available with Pirouette Window Shadings! This fabric option offers an even greater view-through, crafted with a specialized sheer that provides a near unobstructed view of the outside while still diffusing sunlight and filtering out UV rays. These treatments are available in both light-filtering and room-darkening opacities, as well as in ClearView Satin and ClearView Satin Metallic™ fabrics.
Designer Roller Duolite® Shades
Hunter Douglas has just released a NEW Designer Roller Duolite® shade that combines a sheer fabric for diffused lights with an opaque liner for room darkening together on one roller! This is the FIRST-EVER double-fabric combination of its kind, allowing you to have filtered light when you desire, privacy when necessary, and a nice, dark space to get a solid night’s sleep! 24 Designer Roller fabric choices are available to suit any style or preference along with 7 coordinated Room Darkening colors. All hardware colors are color coordinated to your selected liner color too! The Duolite® shades are only available with large square cassettes and PowerView® Automation. Motorization Enhancements
Rechargeable Battery Wand
Forget the hassle of changing out batteries, or worse yet, realizing you don’t have any batteries on hand when you need them. Hunter Doulgas has just introduced the Rechargeable Battery Wand to be installed with most shade styles and can also be retrofitted to many of your existing Hunter Douglas automated shades! This wand is discreetly concealed behind the headrail, keeping the beauty of your shades, while still easily accessible to remove, recharge, and replace! The charge lasts for up to one entire year, depending on how often you operate your shades. There are no surprises either, as you will be notified when the battery is running low via an email notification or directly through the PowerView App. Additionally, the dual-charging station allows you to keep a fully charged spare battery wand so that your shade is never out of commission when charging. Or, you can even charge it while still mounted to the wall. Regardless of the method you prefer, both options charge your wand in just under three hours! PowerView+™ and PowerView AC™ Systems
Two new installation solutions for the ultimate automated shade experience have just been released by Hunter Douglas. Now introducing PowerView+™and PowerView AC™, both excellent automated options that complement and expand on current Hunter Douglas motorization platforms!
PowerView+™, is a new low-voltage, hardwired shading control system with new ultra-quiet motors and increased communication reliability for automated Hunter Douglas shades. It is constructed with an unique motor housing design system that dampens vibrations to significantly reduce overall shade motor noise. This option is available on Designer Roller Shades, Designer Screen Shades, Pirouette® Window Shadings, and Silhouette® Window Shadings.
PowerView AC™ is a best-in-class AC powered solution for large windows and/or banks of windows up to 240-inches wide. It allows shade coupling, for side-by-side windows reaching up to 240-inches wide and up to five shades.
Both the PowerView+ and PowerView AC shades can be combined in a mixed environment along with standard PowerView wired or battery-operated shades for one seamless whole-home system which can be integrated with popular home automation and control systems including Control4, Crestron, Savant, Elan, URC, and others!
